Timeline:

December 4, 2013: I’m obsessed with the idea of doing a pink and aqua christmas quilt, and I have this super cute fabric with shopping ladies on it to use for the block centers. I pull every red, green, pink or aqua fabric I have and cut it alllll out.

January 4, 2014: The entire quilt is cut and ready to assemble.

November 12, 2015: After a busy couple of years I finally decide to finish this dang quilt! I start assembling from the center out.

November 13, 2015: All of the block centers now have one row of strips!

November 15, 2015: All the blocks are done! Aaaaand, I’m not feeling it. I can’t get the layout right and the secondary pattern is not showing up. Hmph.

December 27, 2015: Quilt top is still waiting to be pinned.

January 6, 2016: The top is still in the stack waiting to be pinned and quilted.

December 25, 2016: I finally get down to business, determined to finish this quilt once and for all. I finish the top and pin the quilt.

March 3, 2017: I decide to muscle up and work on the quilt in the off season so I can get IT DONE already. Quilting begins.

April 8, 2017: Quilting time is very scarce these days because of my Mom’s declining health, but I manage to quilt on this quilt for my birthday.

April 13, 2017: I square up the quilt and cut and prepare the binding.

August 21, 2017: My Mom’s health is taking all of my time, but I finally get a chance to put the binding on this quilt.

August 22, 2017: Finally, the Scrappy Log Cabin Christmas Quilt is done!
